How it all began-

Welcome to Crossroad Outdoors, a brand born from a passion for the outdoors and a deep love for hunting. The Crossroads journey began back in 2022 with the purchase of a small abandoned tract of land in Southern Illinois; Crossroads Farm. My plan was to not only restore the land into a deer haven, but also bring the 1950s farm house back to life as well. With the end goal of sleeping, eating, fellowshipping, growing and killing big deer on what little I had; the work began. A sort of "crew" began consisting of friends and my Pop. All likeminded bow-toting buddies. The Crossroads Crew. Stacked 5 deep in an F250 we made the 606 mile one way trip almost weekly to bring the cabin back to life. We had 5 months to get it done, as Illinois opening day was quickly approaching. Everyone had a vested interest in bringing it back to life, as we all hunt alongside each other in Southern Illinois. Those buddies all knew the hard work would be worth it in the end, as the doors to the Crossroads Cabin are always open to them. 3 years later we all still make that annual "Deer Camp" trip together.

 

Where we are heading- 

With the Crossroads Crew in full swing, and our plans in full effect, we started to reap the benefits of all our hard work. Between hunting leased farms in southern Illinois and our Home Turf of Crossroads Farm, big bucks starting falling victim to our archery tackle! We were having the times of our lives; coming back to the cabin every night to eat, strategize about tomorrows hunts, and make the occasional trip to the skinning pole. But something was missing. How could we share this with more people. How could we get more people into hunting. In our minds everyone was missing out on our fun and we wanted to do something to spread the "deer camp" lifestyle. With that in mind we started filming hunts, filming hunting prep work, filming deer camp festivities, anything and everything hunting. Hoping to share with people how much fun the outdoor and hunting world is. To us hunters shouldn't be a dying breed of folks! So we decided to turn Crossroads into a brand. Crossroad Outdoors. A brand people can relate to, represent, and use to encourage each other to get out there and do the dang thing themselves. Hopeful that a simple T-shirt or a hat would get someone to ask, what is Crossroads? A perfect question for a fellow hunter to share their outdoor journey and light that fire in the next person. Get them to go buy that bow, go on that hunt, or maybe even buy that little piece of Midwest Heaven. Maybe one day their dream will turn into a Crossroad Outdoors type of story like our own.
